General terminology on the child care details page
Fixed fee - Fee that does not change with the age of the child.
Variable fee - Fee that changes depending on the age of the child.
Hourly fee - The hourly fee is based on care per hour.
Daily fee - The daily fee is based on care per child per day.
Weekly fee - The weekly fee is based on care per child from Monday to Friday.
Sessional fee - The sessional fee is based on the duration of the session offered.
Duration - Length of session offered.
N/A - Information is not applicable.
Includes - Other items or services that are included in the fee.
Additional information - Details of any additional services offered or other helpful information.
In Home Care and Family Day Care - Please note that In Home Care and Family Day Care may have an administration office. Your
search results may provide information relating to the administration office for your area, and you should contact this office for access to the required service.
Care not provided - This service does not provide care for this age group.
Vacancies - Indicates if a service has care available.
Permanent place - care provided on an ongoing basis.
Casual place - care provided on a non-ongoing basis.
Full day vacancies - care provided for a full day. The start and finish time of a full day may vary from service to service.
Half day vacancies - care provided for half the day. The start and finish time of a half day may vary from service to service.
Other session vacancies - care provided that is not full day or half day. For example, care provided before school and/or after school. The start and finish time of these sessions may vary from service to service.
